 Softcup in the SpotlightThis month we hosted the Softcup Sunset Cocktail Party during the BlogHer 2011 conference in San Diego. Bloggers were invited to hop on a Softcup pedicab for a ride to the Andaz Hotel, where they mingled with celebrities (yes, that is Mario Lopez in the picture above), sipped specialty cocktails, and enjoyed a view of the San Diego skyline from the rooftop deck as the sun went down. Photos from the Softcup Sunset Cocktail Party appeared on some prominent celeb-spotting websites including Celebuzz and MSN's Wonderwall.

What's new in women's health?
A new study conducted by Dr. Ellen Wiebe of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver evaluated use of menstrual products with an IUD. The study of nearly 1,000 women found that the use of tampons or menstrual cups did not increase the risk of early expulsion of an IUD.*
Meet the Softcup Team
 Hi, I’m Kate! I am new to the Softcup team and I’m truly inspired by all of our loyal Softcup fans! There are some terrific women out there, and their stories keep me energized to spread the word about Softcup!
So about me, huh? I was born in Dallas, TX, spent a little time in Denver, but mostly grew up in northern California. Since I am cold-blooded by nature, I attended the University of Arizona, then I settled in San Diego. How can you resist a place that allows you to remain in flip-flops 300 days per year?!
I am a recent newlywed and love to travel. My husband and I are counting down the days until our trip to Australia in 2012! I enjoy great friends, good conversations, great wine, sunshine, and laughter! I love all things social media and I especially love connecting with Softcup users through social media. Over the next few months I'll be working diligently on the launch of the new reusable Softcup, so wish me luck! I'd love to hear your feedback any time, so find me on Twitter. Events
Softcup will debut the new reusable cup at the Natural Products Expo East 2011 September 22-24 in Baltimore, MD. The reusable Softcup is slated to be released by the end of this year.
Softcup Hits More Store Shelves
The newest retail location to carry Softcup is Big Y grocery stores, with locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
