Hooray for Strong Women!
If you're like me, sometimes TV gets you down. Thank goodness the women on reality TV shows are not accurate representations of the women of the world. When I look around at the women I surround myself with—friends, family and the women I work with—I see support, vision, hard work and leadership. I'm lucky that I don't have to look far to find inspirational women, and I bet you don't, either. We should hear more about these women. So, even if it's just in our little corner of the blog world, we're going to make that our focus—starting a conversation about women and what's right with the world. In this regular column, we'll feature a new inspirational person in every post. Get to know them, for they just might give you some ideas, some laughs, some tears—never underestimate the power of a woman and her story. We'd like to hear from you. Email us if you know of someone whom we should profile. It can be you or someone you know. We'll send them a brief questionnaire to help get the conversation started.
